Are you licensed, bonded and insured?

Yes, we are licensed, bonded and insured in every town where we work. CAS also provides worker's comp and liability insurance for all of our employees, unlike some other contractors. This protects our workers and it also protects the homeowners they work for from getting sued.

Why is it important we use a licensed, bonded and insured contractor?

With unlicensed contractors, you are responsible for medical and time loss costs for employees injured while working on your project. Insurance protects you from damage to your property. Also, unpaid workers or material suppliers can put a lien on your home if they don't get paid.

What is included in a free estimate?

Our expert will come to your home and discuss the project with you. We will evaluate the home offering suggestions and designs to best meet your needs. Then we will provide a realistic quote for completing the job. We will also provide you with a list of jobs that we have completed in your area, feel free to contact anyone on our list.

What happens after we receive your estimate?

After you receive an estimate from us and sign a contract, we will ask for your first deposit. Once your deposit is received, we will start drawing the plans and schedule a start date for your project.

Do you offer a design service?

Absolutely! Our expert has designed and built over 1500 additions. Our custom designs and plans are included in the cost of your addition. In a few towns where certified architect drawings are required, you may need to pay for that service. We can follow your plans, improve existing plans or design your home the ground up.

Once work begins on our project will your carpenters be pulled off to another job?

Our experienced team works quickly and efficiently on your addition only, until the shell is completed and waterproofed. The shell is done within a few days to a week or two, depending on the size of your addition. This makes us stand out from the others! We complete all of our work in a timely manner.

Can I complete some of the work myself?
